MJ Finance and Bureau de Change ‘s proprietor, Alhagie Muhammed Morr Jobe, has launched a campaign calling on successful individuals and fellow businessmen and women to join his bandwagon by digging boreholes to help street taps in needy communities.
The campaign which was dubbed ‘Operation Defeat Corona by Creating a Borehole Providing Street Taps Water for Vulnerable Communities’ will be sponsored by wealthy individuals and fellow businessmen and women, he added.
“I invented this campaign to help the needy communities with water by making a street taps borehole.Water is very important in the battle against the covid-19 pandemic in these tough times of corona,’ he said.
He added: “I believe that there has to be a successful individual living there in every community and I want to call on those people to help the community they belong to with water.”
According to him, water is one of the most important things for human beings, adding that for many years he has been making this kind of gesture particularly around areas in Brusubi and Bijilo.
He added that the prosperous individuals and fellow businessmen and women in their communities would support this initiative (construction of a borehole and street taps for the poor communities).
Mr. Jobe noted that giving back to the communities to which they belong is always very important, noting that water is one of the major problems in some of the communities. He added that aiding poor communities with water (community street taps) is very important to them as productive individuals.
“I ‘m calling on my effective fellow entrepreneurs and women and individuals to support communities with borehole and street taps. Water is very important to people and communities in fighting covid-19.
